Lake Rules

  1. Children under 14 and all non-swimmers must wear life preservers when playing around the lake or in boats on the lake.
  2. All fishing in the lake is catch and release. This is necessary to maintain the fish population and is also for your safety. The water can be polluted with chemicals and pesticides, so eating the fish would be dangerous to your health.
  3. No fishing by non-residents is allowed. If you see trespassers please feel free to call the sheriff’s office.
  4. No swimming in the lake. In addition to pollution, there is a real danger from silt on the bottom of the lake and someone swimming or wading could easily sink in the silt.
